Mindfulness

"You can’t stop the waves but you can learn to Surf " - Jon Kabat-Zinn

Mindfulness is paying attention, non-judgementally and in the present moment. Since 2008, we have offered a range of range courses for the public, workplaces and for young people, as an effective way of addressing life’s challenges and increasing a sense of wellbeing.  Mindfulness is approved by NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) to prevent relapse into depression (via Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy courses) and is known to help many conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, anxiety and stress.  Mindfulness is a secular practice and courses have been developed over the last thirty years by experts in mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy.  Mindfulness is very simple and it changes lives.  We are the most established local provider of secular Mindfulness courses and are one of the few providers whose staff adhere to emerging good practice guidelines.
