Welcome to the website of Norwich and Central Norfolk Mind. We are an innovative and experienced provider of mental health services in Norwich and Central Norfolk. Each year we provide over 40,000 sessions of support to more than 2,500 individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.
We are affiliated to Mind and are also an independent Charity Registered in England (No. 1118449) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (No. 05729028). We are committed to providing high quality services and participate in the Mind Quality System in addition to being accredited with Investors in People, Supporting People and other regulatory agencies. Our funders include Norfolk County Council, NHS Norfolk and The Big Lottery.
02/02/12 - MHFA Champion Award
Norwich Mind Deputy CEO Sandra Flanagan joined other award winners at the House of Lords to receive a Mental Health First Aid Champion Award. This award recognises our effort in training hundreds of people to assist others experiencing a mental health issue.

14/12/11 - Carers Rights Day
The theme for this year's Carers Rights Day was “MoneyMatters” and an event was held at the Carers Forum to provide information, advice and support for carers facing difficult financial situations. The event was attended by Moira Goodey, Manager Carer Support and Simon Wright MP Norwich South also came along to offer support. Many carers across central Norfolk struggle with the additional costs that caring can bring and Carers UK figures show that over 47% of carers experience mental health problems of their own.
13/12/11 - Norwich Mind Wins MHFA Award!
Every year, MHFA England CIC holds an awards event to celebrate the amazing things that have been achieved by the instructors and organisations. Norwich Mind has been awarded an MHFA Champion Award in recognition of it's commitment to increasing mental health literacy, incorporating the MHFA in our volunteer training and delivering training comprehensively and making it accessible to all sectors.
